India is all set to host a 5-match Test series against England starting from 25th January. The 1st Test game between the two top cricketing nations will be played in Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. England may look to break India’s record who haven’t lost a Test series at home since 2012.

As team India arrived in Hyderabad on Saturday whereas the England team arrived on Sunday. Both the teams had their 1st practice session on Monday. As Rohit Shamra and Co. gears up to play a 5-match Test series against strong challengers England. India’s fast bowler Mohammed Siraj has stated that England’s ‘Bazball’ won’t work in Indian conditions.

If they play ‘Bazball’ cricket the match won’t Test match will finish in 1.5 or 2 days as pitches in the sub-continent provide turn and bounce often to the bowlers. It’s not easy to hit every ball here. It will be good for us if they play Bazball here as the match will end quickly Siraj stated

While getting ready for the upcoming Test series Siraj stated that it’s important to have consistency to hit the ball at the right place when the ball is new. With patience focus and control he wants to build pressure on the batsmen.

Siraj had struggled with sleep before the Test debut

Since making his debut in Australia, Siraj has taken 68 wickets in just 23 Test matches. Talking about his debut Siraj said that he had struggled with sleep just before the night of his debut. Siraj also stated that he took sleeping tablets but ended up without sleeping as he just wanted to ball in the game.

Mohammed  Siraj’s best bowling spell on 6/15 came in South Africa. With this spell, he put an end to South Africa’s batting for just 55 runs in the first innings which helped India to level the series in Newlands, Cape Town.

As Mohammed Shami is injured, Mohammed Siraj is ready to join his pace partner Jasprit Bumrah in the playing XI for the upcoming Test match against Three Lions.
