India Announce Their Squads For The Rest Of The England Tour, Arshdeep Singh Gets His Maiden ODI Call-Up

On 30 June 2022, the Indian Cricket Board announced the squad for the upcoming T20I and ODI series against England. These series are scheduled after the completion of the historical rescheduled Test match in Birmingham, starting from July 1. The T20I series will commence on 7 July while the ODI series will kick off on 12 July.
However, Indian selectors picked a different squad for the first T20I and a different squad for the rest of the two T20I games. On the eve of this Test match, the Indian Cricket Board confirmed that the regular Indian skipper Rohit Sharma will not be part of the Test match due to his Covid-19 infection. Eventually, Jasprit Bumrah was named as the captain for the match.
Arshdeep Singh got a maiden Call-up to the Indian ODI squad
Speaking about the squads, the full squad which was in Ireland for T20Is will be present for the first T20Is. Only Rohit Sharma will be back as the captain. After that, for the next two T20Is, India went back to their big names like Virat Kohli, Ravindra Jadeja, and Jasprit Bumrah.
Then, for the ODI series, India went with the possible strongest squad as all big names were added. Arshdeep Singh got his maiden call-up in the ODI set-up. However, Sanju Samson got excluded once again from the last T20I and ODI squads.
