India vs South Africa: Three big changes India needs to do to win the second T20I against South Africa
Proper utilization of Yuzvendra Chahal
After the loss of this match, the main talking point was the underutilization of Indian leggie, Yuzvendra Chahal, by Rishabh Pant. Only 2.1 overs were given to him as he got smashed for 26 runs at an economy of 12. It was quite surprising for all cricket fans as he was coming off as the highest wicket-taker in the Indian T20 Leauge 2022.
In this year’s tournament, Chahal took 27 wickets in 17 matches at an economy of 7.75. He also picked up a hat-trick and a five-wicket haul for his Rajasthan franchise. Hence, Pant needs to use his full quota of four overs very carefully throughout the innings to get the better of the Proteas in the second T20I.
