Indian pacer Ishant Sharma reveals shocking fact about MS Dhoni’s composure on field

Indian fast bowler Ishant Sharma said that India’s World Cup-winning captain MS Dhoni has many talents, but calmness and coolness are not among them, and the former Indian captain frequently used foul words on the field. He has now made an unexpected remark about the former India captain, claiming that keeping ‘calm and collected’ is not Dhoni’s strongest suit.
He is well-known for his astute leadership, incredible finishing ability, and cool attitude under pressure. Ishant played under Dhoni’s captaincy for most of his cricketing career, he was a member of the side that won the 2013 Champions Trophy under Dhoni’s leadership. Ishant told YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadiya that Dhoni has frequently used foul language on the pitch and has yelled at the bowler on several occasions.

Speaking on the TRS Clips’ Youtube channel Ishant said, “Mahi bhai has many strengths. But calm and cool aren’t one of them. He often uses abusive language on the field, and I’ve heard it first-hand. Whether it’s during the IPL or with the Indian team, people are always around him. You’ll find someone or the other sitting with Mahi bhai. It’s like the feeling of being in a village, just missing the trees.”
He further added, “After I finished bowling, Mahi bhai asked me, ‘Are you tired?’ I replied, ‘Yes, a lot.’ Then he said, ‘Son, you’re getting old, quit. I’ve never seen Mahi bhai angry, except when he threw the ball, and it went down. When he threw it the first time, I saw that look. The second throw was even stronger, and the ball went down.”
On Dhoni’s birthday, special wishes from the cricket community have poured in. Former cricketers and experts have also backed the legendary batter, who just led Chennai Super Kings to their fifth Indian Premier League (IPL) title in 2023. The artwork was given to the man by a fan. Dhoni too admired the beautiful artwork and humbly posed for photographs with the admirers. Images emerged on the auspicious day of his birthday showing massive cut-outs of Dhoni in Hyderabad and Nandigama, Andhra Pradesh.
