Indian T20 League 2022: Predicting first-choice overseas players of Chennai

The MS Dhoni-led Chennai team has seen many ups and downs in its course, but the players have always stayed strong. The players that have been associated with the team are often loyal to the team, and the team, too, is loyal to them.
This time too Chennai was able to retain some of its key players, and some had to be let go. Dwayne Bravo, Moeen Ali, and Mitchell Santner are the overseas players from last season that Chennai managed to re-buy. Here are the four overseas players that Chennai can star in their first playing XI.
Devon Conway
The Kiwi batter, Devon Conway has been a good find in recent years. He has become a permanent part of the New Zealand team in all three formats in very little time. The Chennai team got him for a steal buy at the base price of INR 1 crore.
He can be a good replacement to Faf du Plessis, who did well for them in many seasons at the top of the order. It will be interesting to see how he fits in and to watch him open the batting with Ruturaj Gaikwad.
