IPL 2023: Flop XI of the season

Bowlers – Rahul Chahar, Jofra Archer, Umesh Yadav, Umran Malik

Rahul Chahar – Rahul Chahar of the Punjab Kings was unable to consistently take wickets in IPL 2023. In 14 games, the right-arm spinner took 8 wickets despite being wicketless in many more.

Jofra Archer – The fast bowler’s first IPL season with the Mumbai Indians has not gone as the fast bowler and the team had hoped. Archer played in 5 games, but only took 2 wickets, giving up runs at a 9.5 economy rate.

Umesh Yadav – The senior India and KKR seamer’s Indian Premier League 2023 campaign was a complete failure with just 1 wicket in 8 games!

Umran Malik – Umran Malik struggled in the IPL 2023 after having a breakout season the previous year, taking just 5 wickets in 7 games and conceding more than 10 runs per over.
