Ravindra Jadeja is currently busy playing for India in the ongoing Asia cup 2022. However, he played a vital knock against Pakistan in the first match of the tournament. Meanwhile, in recent times, there are several rumours regarding his future in his Chennai franchise. Now, the Gujarat franchise’s recent social media activity sparked rumours of him joining them ahead of the next season of the Indian T20 League.

Jadeja stitched a very important 52-run partnership with the Gujarat skipper Hardik Pandya against Pakistan. Hence, after winning the match, the Gujarat franchise came with a tweet along with a picture of both of them. Speaking about the shared post, the franchise shared that to greet and acknowledge the effort of two players in that mega match. Notably, Gujarat is the home town of Ravindra Jadeja. Hence, this post sparked rumours of him joining them ahead of the next season of the Indian T20 League.

After the conclusion of the last edition, there is a rumoured rift between him and his Chennai franchise. Jadeja’s social media activities also indicated the same. He deleted all of his Chennai-related posts from his Instagram account. However, the Chennai franchise has denied all such rumours so far. In fact, they also shared a good-luck post for him ahead of this mega event. Even after the match, they also shared a post on Jadeja to acknowledge his match-winning contribution.

Speaking about this rumoured rift, Jadeja denied speaking up while reporters asked him after his heroics in the Birmingham Test match. “What happened, happened. Indian T20 League was not on my mind. Whenever you are playing for India, your entire focus needs to be on the Indian team. It was the same for me, there is no better satisfaction than performing well for India,” Ravindra Jadeja concluded.
