‘Jadeja pro max’ – Twitter reacts as Shaheen Afridi bowls like Ravindra Jadeja in the nets
Shaheen Afridi has been in superb form of late. He was recently seen during the first Test against Australia. Despite all the hype, the Test in Rawalpindi turned out to be a rather boring game. In both the innings combined, the hosts lost just four wickets as batters went on to make merry on a dead wicket.
The second Test is set to take place in Karachi and the players have started practicing for the game Recently, a video of the Pakistan players training in the nets went viral. However, it went viral for an absolutely hilarious reason.
In the video, Afridi can be seen bowling spin. The astonishing part was that his bowling action was similar to that of Ravindra Jadeja. His run-up was the same as well. It looked like as if the Indian all-rounder was bowling, and not Afridi.

Thus, the fans were quick to react. They couldn’t stop comparing the Pakistan star to Jadeja. Fans were convinced that Afridi was copying the Saurashtra all-rounder. This video instantly started trending.
“Maybe Jadeja took the wrong flight from Mohali and landed in Karachi instead of Bengaluru,” wrote a fan. “Shaheen’s bowling action in this clip is a carbon of Jadeja’s action,” read the Tweet of another fan.
In the meanwhile, Afridi wasn’t at his best during the first Test against the Cummins-led side. In 30 overs, he was only able to pick two wickets and went for 88 runs. The flat conditions in Rawalpindi didn’t help him either. However, the fans will expect him to come good during the second Test, which is set to start on March 12. It will be exciting to see which team ends up getting their first win of the three-match Test series. Besides, the team that wins the upcoming Test will ensure that they can’t lose the series.
