India leads the 3rd Test match against England by 322 runs. At the end of day 3, the team scored 196 runs at the loss of two wickets. It was Jaiswal’s century and Shubman Gill’s half-century that helped India reach the massive score. With 104 runs off 133 balls, Jaiswal scored yet another century against England in the Test match. However, a thigh injury forced him to retire before the game was over. In the series, this was his second century. Moreover, looks like he’s playing the series of his dreams and is at the peak of his game.

He was playing slowly before he reached the half-century mark. But even as he approached his fifty-score, his batting was gradually changing. Additionally, it only took him 122 balls to reach the century mark. He had previously scored two centuries in the second Test match in Vizag. Jaiswal took full advantage of the fact that the pitch was in the batters’ favour.

In the 27th over against Anderson, Jaiswal blasted two straight boundaries and a six, displaying his batting prowess. For the most part, Jaiswal had a successful day at work. Even the entire day belonged to India as they were way ahead of England in all the departments.

‘We had only four bowlers’ – Mohammed Siraj talked about the team’s strategy

In the third Test match against England, Mohammed Siraj claimed four wickets at an economy of 3.97. The young bowlers assumed responsibility and carried it out well in Ravichandran Ashwin’s absence. India had a better third day than England since their hitters were out of the game far before they could reach 445 runs. Additionally, after the game, Siraj talked about the pre-morning team meeting and their approach to handling the visitors.

Siraj said, “We had only four bowlers and we had a responsibility. We knew they would attack so we spoke about sticking together knowing that they would make a mistake. We didn’t plan anything much, we were waiting for them to make a mistake. I knew the yorker would be a good wicket-taking option. The important role for a bowler is to bowl six dot balls, we know they’re not used to playing out six dots in a row.”
