Jonty Rhodes’ heartwarming gesture towards Sachin Tendulkar leaves fans in awe

Sachin Tendulkar is regarded as, arguably, the greatest batter ever to play the game of cricket. The little master has scored plethora of runs against all the oppositions in international cricket. In his illustrious career, the little master scored over 15,000 runs in 200 Test matches for India. Besides, he has also played 463 matches in ODIs, scoring 18426 runs at an average of 44.8. He was the also part of the India’s 2011 World Cup winning campaign. He scored the most runs for the team in that tournament. He was, in fact, the second highest run-scorer in the tournament.

Sachin Tendulkar is currently part of the Mumbai franchise in the ongoing edition of the Indian T20 League 2022. Tendulkar is plying his trade as a mentor of the side. However, the team isn’t doing too well this year. The five-time winners, Mumbai has suffered five consecutive defeats and are yet to open their account this season.

Mumbai lost their last game against Punjab by 12 runs. After the game, Sachin Tendulkar was spotted at the ground shaking hands with the players. Amidst that, he was taken by surprise as Jonty Rhodes tried to touch his feet instead of following the routine of shaking hands.
