‘Kabhi nhi jaega’- Fans react as Lionel Messi suggest Kylian Mbappe to join FC Barcelona
Lionel Messi delivered a poorly disguised parting shot on Paris Saint-Germain while giving advice to its star forward Kylian Mbappe. The 35-year-old legend will leave Paris this summer after two years at the Parc Des Princes club, following an illustrious nearly two decades with Barcelona. He will join Inter Miami.
Messi is leaving Europe as a free agent after declining to sign another contract in the top-flight league, looking forwards to a new chapter in the United States after a stunning 43 titles for club and country in the previous years. However, the Argentinian legend does not appear to be pleased with quietly departing France, instead publicly slamming his former teammates.
According to Defensa Central, the former Camp Nou star pleaded with his friend to join a more successful club in the future. According to various reports, Messi has stated his preference for France forwards to join FC Barcelona, while also acknowledging that old rivals Real Madrid may provide a similar path to silverware. He said, “I prefer that you go to Barça but if you want to go to Madrid, do it, you deserve a real winning project.”
Earlier this month, the French star stated his desire not to renew his contract in Paris and go on next season. However, the Paris hierarchy has gone insane as they must pick between letting him leave this year or allowing him to go for free the next. Mbappe has failed to win the Champions League despite winning five Ligue 1 crowns and a World Cup. Many feel that leaving PSG would help the Frenchman win the coveted crown.
Messi did add to his vast medal collection while at PSG, winning two Ligue 1 titles, his tenure in France was not without controversy. In reality, his time at the club ended fairly tumultuously, with the club issuing him with an internal ban following an unlawful travel to Saudi Arabia. It was then reported that he would quit the club, with Inter Miami ultimately winning the battle to sign him.
Here’s how fans reacted
What are you waffling about,The biggest thing that happened in PSG history was the signing of Leo Messi. No one cared about that 2 rated club until messi joined.

We literally banged Madrid thrice in a row last season with multiple starters missing and if he wants to keep losing, he should very well join madrid than coming to Barcelona
