‘Kisi ne muft mein paa liya…’ -Fans divided after Prithvi Shaw posts cryptic Instagram story after missing out on India call-up

Prithvi Shaw has once again missed out on an India call-up with another white-ball series coming up after the turn of 2023. From January 3 to 15 next year, the Men In Blue will host Sri Lanka for three T20Is and as many ODIs. With a week left at the start of the series, the squad was announced for the series. Shaw was anticipated to get into the T20I team with KL Rahul, Rohit Sharma, and Virat Kohli resting.

However, the selectors have preferred players such as Ishan Kishan, Ruturaj Gaikwad, and Shubman Gill for the opening slots. After missing out on the selection, the 2018 U19 World Cup-winning skipper posted a cryptic Instagram. A Twitter user took the screenshots and uploaded them on the micro-blogging site. These Instagram stories are doing rounds on the internet.

Talking about the team, the likes of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli have been rested while KL Rahul has dropped. Sharma and Kohli have reportedly decided to play the Test and ODIs only in the near future. On the other hand, Rahul has been stripped off the vice-captaincy. He wouldn’t be available for the T20Is and will return for the ODI series.
