Former India cricketer Gautam Gambhir has posted a fresh picture with Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan on Twitter. The latter is having a dream time in his long film career as his newly-released, Jawan is doing well. Released on September 7, the film’s box office collection has reached 900 crores (9 billion) and is marching towards the 1000 crore (10 billion mark). In just two weeks, the film and SRK have become a talking point.
Meanwhile, Gambhir, who is currently working as an MP from Delhi and a commentator, has played for SRK-owned Kolkata Knight Riders from 2011 to 2017. During this period, Gambhir led the side to their two title wins in 2012 and 2014. For the last nine years, the Purple brigade is still searching for their next title. Meanwhile, SRK and Gautam’s latest image has been going viral.

Shah Rukh Khan didn’t interfere with the team: Gautam Gambhir
Over the years, the two-time World Cup winner has been vocal about how SRK never interfered with the team during any season. The former revealed that he was given the full freedom to run the team.
“This is your team, make it or break it, I will not interfere… I just promised him one thing, I don’t know where it’s gonna happen but by the time I leave, whether it’s gonna be three years or six years, this franchise will be in a much better position,” Gambhir said in Star Sports show ‘Cricket Connected’.
On the other hand, Joy Bhattacharya said that Gambhir is the kind of player who takes a bullet for his players.
“You don’t say that he’s (Gambhir) captain cool, he’s the guy who will take a bullet for his players, he’s got all passion. So when you’re standing with Gautam, you’ll never stand alone. So that’s what we did with KKR,” said former KKR team director Joy Bhattacharya in a show called ‘22 Yarns With Gaurav Kapur’ while explaining Gambhir’s captaincy style.
