‘KL Rahul is the biggest scam’ – Twitter brutally trolls KL Rahul as he fails against Netherlands

India vice-captain and opening batter, KL Rahul was expected to have a good game against the Netherlands. After all, the Dutch bowling attack is one of the weakest and inexperienced at this level. Not to forget, he had a forgettable game with the bat. In the game against the European side, the right-hander was expected to do well. However, after batting for 12 balls, he could score nine.
Rahul was trapped lbw although it turned out to be a wrong decision in the end. What was baffling was his decision not to review the call. Also, skipper Rohit Sharma couldn’t spot the wrong decision from the non-striking end. This meant another failure for the Bangalore player in the tournament. Even though these are early days in the 20-20 World Cup 2022, the fans have always criticized Rahul for his inability to do well in high-pressure games.
KL Rahul could have scored more runs: Virender Sehwag
Reacting to the fiasco, the two-time World Cup winner, Virender Sehwag has stated that if Rahul had taken the DRS, the latter might have scored more runs. The former opening batter also expressed his surprise over why Rahul didn’t take the review. Sehwag added that he discussed with his teammates during the 2011 World Cup that he would take a review if given out lbw.
“If KL Rahul had taken a DRS, he would have scored runs. He wasn’t out, I don’t know why he didn’t take a review,” Sehwag said on Cricbuzz.
“I made a rule during the 2011 World Cup that if the ball struck my pad, I will take the review. The rest of the team had only one review, and one review was reserved for me.”

Looks like no one noticing DK's keeping blunders. Dropped two catches today too. It will come back to haunt India in knockouts probably. KL Rahul, if not DK, needs to be dropped for Pant.
