Krunal Pandya and Deepak Hooda are playing for the Lucknow team in the Indian T20 League 2022. Hooda has been brilliant with the bat for the team so far in the tournament and will be looking to continue his form. On the other hand, Krunal has been decent with the ball so far but will be looking to find his form with the bat soon. Notably, the duo grabbed the headlines earlier for their rift while playing for the Baroda team in the Syed Mushtaq Ali trophy. Following their rift, the fans have been waiting to see them bat together for Lucknow, a chance that the fans have not got yet.

During the incident, Krunal was leading the Baroda side and Hooda was a part of the team. Hooda came out of the bio-bubble of the tournament stating that his skipper intended to pull him down and had warned him that he would ensure that Hooda doesn’t play for Baroda. As a result, Hooda moved to Rajasthan in the following domestic season.

Thus far Hooda has maintained that he shares a brotherly relation with Krunal Pandya. He also stated that the two are now playing for the same team and they both have only the best interests of the team in their heart.

In an interview with Dainik Jagran Hooda spoke on his relationship with Krunal. To quote Hooda from the interview – “Krunal Pandya is like my brother, and brothers do fight. We are playing with one aim, which is to win games for Lucknow. I was not watching the Indian T20 League auction. We met just like the other players at the team hotel. Whatever happened is in the past, and as I said, we both are playing for the same team and our too goals, too, are the same.”
