India’s young batsman Rinku Singh recently made his debut for the Indian cricket team squad in India’s tour in Ireland and will also play in the upcoming Asian Games 2023. Recently, Rinku made headlines as his name shined bright on the popular game show Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC), hosted by Amitabh Bachchan. 

During a special guest celebrity episode, Amitabh Bachchan asked Abhishek Bachchan, Saiyami Kher and R Balki a question for ₹6,40,000 about which players match to 5 sixes in a row in the last over of the match in IPL 2023, With the options, A. Andre Russell, B. Nitish Rana, C. Rinku Singh and D.Venkatesh Iyer.

“When I saw my name I was very emotional, I have been working for this and now I have got it,” said Rinku Singh in a recent video.  

“Everyone at home wanted me to play for India and when I got selected everyone danced. Everyone was happy. I am excited to play for India, if given a chance I’d like to do well and our team will win and bring home the gold. I have worked hard in the KKR academy. Abhishek sir (KKR Assistant Coach Abhishek Nayyar) has helped me. All my hard work has paid off” added Rinku Singh on playing for Indian Team in the Asian Games 2023 

“My life changed after those five sixes. People knew me but not that much. But after those five sixes, now a lot of people know. It feels quite good, My family were very happy as they would say, Play for India, we want to watch you. Everything is good and everyone danced when I got selected. It was a special innings and people began to talk about me,” Rinku Singh said about his famous five sixes in the IPL Match for Kolkata Knight riders against Gujarat Titans.
