The Indian Cricket fans were enthralled as the men in blue yet again beat Pakistan in ODI World Cups. This was the eighth time that team India had won over Pakistan since their first meeting in 1992.
With this win, India now has won their first three games of the ODI World Cup 2023 and is at the top of the table. India chased down the 192-run target with ease in a packed Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
Union Home Minister Mr Amit Shah was in attendance to watch the big game on Saturday. There was a huge cheer as Mr Shah was spotted on the big screen, this comes after his years of working with Gujarat Cricket.
Amit Shah visits Ahmedabad to watch India versus Pakistan –
Honourable Union Minister, Mr Amit Shah was in attendance in Ahmedabad to watch India take on Pakistan. The former Gujarat Cricket office-bearer was happy to see the Indian team win the game.
The Indians dominated the entire game with the bat and ball as they hammered the hapless Pakistan side. Rohit Sharma and his side displayed aggression during the game in all facets to outplay their opposition.
It was an easy win for India in the end as they chased down the paltry 192-run target with seven wickets to spare. The massive thumping gives India a better net run rate and puts Pakistan under pressure.
India will now travel to Pune to play against Bangladesh on the 19th of October. Pakistan meanwhile be coming up against a spirited Australian side next in Chennai. Pat Cummins and his side have lost both their games of the ODI World Cup 2023 campaign.
Rohit Sharma led the charge with the bat as he scored 86 crucial runs with the help of 6 fours and 6 sixes. The Indian captain was out to Shaheen Afridi just when he was looking set for yet another ton.
Shreyas Iyer scored his first fifty in the World Cup as he along with KL Rahul took the team home. India will now play their fourth game of the ODI World Cup 2023 on Thursday against Bangladesh in Pune.
