Nicholas Pooran showcases his singing talents ahead of the match against Gujarat

The 15th edition of the Indian T20 League has been a major source of entertainment for the fans with intense cricketing action. The tournament has gained momentum and has reached its 21st match. Hyderabad will face Gujarat in the match at the DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai on the 11th of April.
Ahead of the match, Hyderabad shared a video clip of their star wicket-keeper-batter Nicholas Pooran on their official Twitter page. The left-handed batter was seen singing the Hindi song, “Tu Jaane Na” from the movie “Azab Prem ki Gazab Kahani”, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif.

In the video, Pooran was sitting alongside all-rounder Shreyas Gopal in the team bus. The team was heading towards the stadium for their next match. The post was captioned – “West Indian idol #OrangeArmy #ReadytoRise.”
Notably, Hyderabad started their campaign in the worst way possible losing their first two matches. But they have returned to winning ways in their last match as they defeated Chennai.
Pooran had been one of the most expensive buys of the mega auction for the Indian T20 League 2022, as Hyderabad secured his services for INR 10.75 Cr. But his scores of 0, 34 and 5 not out in the three matches do not justify either his talent or his price tag. Hyderabad will be hoping to continue their winning momentum against Gujarat and also will be looking towards Pooran to give them solid and powerful finishes.
Hyderabad is currently ranked 8th in the points table with one win from three matches, while Gujarat is currently at 3 and is still to be defeated in the tournament.
