The West Indian all-rounder Carlos Brathwaite grabbed the limelight with his unreal finish in the 2016 T20 World Cup final against England. He took on Ben Stokes in the final over of the match and slammed four consecutive sixes to win West Indies the match and the tournament. But since then, his form has blown hot and cold and he has missed cricketing action lately because of a shoulder injury.

Notably, the West Indian all-rounder is making a comeback to cricket after a long period of absence. He is set to lead the Birmingham Bears team in the T20 Blast due to begin next month. Before the start of the tournament, Brathwaite is utilizing his time to get some match practice with Knowle and Dorridge.

He debuted for the club in a 50-over match during the Easter weekend. But the day could not have been worse for him both on and off the field. While bowling in the match he conceded 31 runs from 4 overs without picking up a wicket. Things worsened as he got out for a golden duck with the bat and his team lost the match by 12 runs.

He later Tweeted about the match and stated that his car had also been stolen on the same day. He wrote on the social media site-

“What a day yesterday

-First time bowling in a game after injury for six months

-First ball duck from a long hop

-Car stolen

But you know what, woke up this morning, Sun is shining and giving thanks.”
