Indian actress Rashmika Mandanna, recently, stated that Royal Challengers Bangalore is her favorite among all the teams in the Indian Premier League. The South Indian actress mentioned that she is also from Bangalore which is also the main reason for her to support RCB.
When asked about her favourite cricketer in IPL, she mentioned the name of the RCB batter Virat Kohli and stated that he is a ‘swagger.’
“I am Bangalore, I am from Karnataka, and we have ‘Ee saala cup namde’ things, slogan going on so yeah, I think that just carried on. I hope this time, I feel like getting uh, go and see RCB play,” said Mandanna in an interview by Start Sports.
“Virat sir, he’s a swagger, he is awesome,” she said when asked about her favourite IPL cricketer.
RCB to take on LSG in IPL 2023 clash
RCB are having ups and downs in the ongoing season of IPL. In the eight matches played so far in the tournament, RCB won four and lost four matches and currently stand in the sixth position at the points table.
RCB started off their season well with a convincing victory over Mumbai Indians. After that, they went on to lose back-to-back games against Kolkata Knight Riders and Lucknow Super Giants, respectively. They finally got their winning momentum back by defeating Delhi Capitals by 23 runs but lost again in the next game against Chennai Super Kings by 8 runs.
After that, RCB went on to win back-to-back games against Punjab Kings and Rajasthan Royals, respectively but lost in the next game against KKR. In these three games, RCB fans also saw the return of Virat Kohli as the skipper. Kolhi is leading the side in the last three games as Faf du Plessis came as an impact player.
RCB will now take on LSG for match number 43 of the season at the Ekana Cricket Stadium on May 1st. The last encounter between both teams turned out to be the blockbuster as LSG chased the target of 213 against RCB in the last ball of the match with a dramatic finish.
