Star Indian batter Virat Kohli has regained his form in all formats of international cricket. The 34-year-old finally ended his century drought in Tests as well in the fourth Test against Australia in Ahmedabad. Kohli has now 75 centuries across the formats in international cricket.

After a rough patch in the first half of 2022, Kohli ended up as the highest scorer for team India in Asia Cup where he also ended his century drought in international cricket. After that, he went on to become the highest run getter in the 20-20 World Cup in Australia.

Kohli scored an ODI century against Bangladesh and continued his form in the home series against Sri Lanka with two hundreds from three games. Now, Kohli was the second highest run scorer in the, recently ended, Border-Gavaskar Trophy.

Former Indian spinner, Harbhajan Singh, recently, praised Kohli for his performance over the past few months and backed him to break Sachin Tendulkar’s record of 100 centuries. He said that Kohli has the fitness of a 24-year-old, and he could score 50 more centuries in his career.

‘Rest all are far behind him (Kohli)’ – Harbhajan

“It’s certainly possible. I think he can score more than that (100 centuries). Two things favor Virat here: his age, and his fitness. He’s 34 but his fitness is that of a 24-year-old cricketer. He’s way ahead in that aspect,” said Harbhajan while speaking to Sports Tak.

“He has already scored 75 centuries, he can score at least 50 more. He knows his game and he plays all formats. You might think I’m going overboard with this, but it is certainly possible. If anyone can do it, it’s Virat Kohli. Rest all are far behind him,” he further added.

Harbhajan also believes that Kohli’s batting abilities are god gifted and he has to work more on his fitness from here. He also added that the Indian batter didn’t have any technical faults and he rectifies them if there are any.

“He knew he had to work on his fitness because his batting abilities are god-gifted. I don’t think he will stop from here. There are no technical faults, and even if they are, he works on them and rectifies them. Since his return (after break), he has already scored five centuries. This is pretty much a comeback for him,” Harbhajan said.
