Australia Test skipper Pat Cummins revealed a rather funny incident in a recently-released documentary, The Test. For the unversed, it is the second part of the ‘The Test’ series. The first part was released a few years back. It covered the state of Australian cricket after the infamous Sandpaper Gate in 2018 till retaining the Ashes in 2019. The second part starts from the Ashes 2021-22.

In the second part, the area of coverage is their tour of Pakistan last year and their tour of Sri Lanka. Meanwhile, in the series, the Australia Test skipper has revealed that he accidentally sent a meme to former Prime Minister of Australia, Scott Morrison. Apparently, Cummins was added to a Whatsapp group with Morrison and former head coach, Justin Langer included in it.

The name of the team’s Whatsapp Group and the new group was the same: Pat Cummins

The right-arm pacer added that the name of the team’s Whatsapp group and the one created by Morrison was the same. Both were named Legends. Meanwhile, he shared a meme and hoped that it wasn’t sent to the wrong group. As it turned out, the New South Welshman sent a meme meant for teammates to the group created by Morrison. In the end, Pat wrote ‘sorry PM’ after deleting the message.

“I just opened up my phone then, and I’ve been added to a WhatsApp group called ‘Legends’ with Scott Morrison and Justin Langer in it. We [already] have a WhatsApp group, Hoff, Starcy and I called legends. Hope I don’t send anything to the wrong group,” Cummins revealed in the first episode of the second series of the Amazon documentary, The Test.

“I did once. I think it was a stat or a photo or a meme or something that came up and I sent it to the wrong group and I quickly had to delete it. Sorry PM,” Cummins told the Sydney Morning Herald.
