‘Prithvi Shaw ne kya bigada hai selectors ka’- Netizens call for Prithvi Shaw’s inclusion after India announce squad for New Zealand and Bangladesh series

On the dying embers of the day on October 31^st the Indian cricket board announced the India squad for New Zealand and Bangladesh series. Starting from November 18^th, the Men in Blue will play a three-match T20I series against New Zealand in New Zealand. The teams will then clash in three matches ODI series starting from November 25^th.

All-rounder Hardik Pandya has been appointed as the captain for Team India against New Zealand, while Rishabh Pant will take care of the vice-captaincy duties. Top-order batter Shubman Gill also makes an entry to the squad after last playing against Zimbabwe.

Ishan Kishan, Shreyas Iyer and Sanju Samson have been given a chance to showcase their skills and cement their names in the team. Washington Sunder has also been recalled. Young pace sensation Umran Malik also makes his entry to the team after playing against Ireland last.

As for the ODI squad, Shikhar Dhawan has been chosen to lead the side with Pant as the vice-captain. Shahbaz Ahmed and Kuldeep Sen have been added to the squad in place of Arshdeep Singh and Mohammad Siraj from the T20I squad.

After New Zealand, India will play a three-match ODI series against Bangladesh starting on December 4^th at Dhaka. The squad for the Bangladesh series calls back Rohit Sharma as captain and KL Rahul as vice-captain. Shikhar Dhawan and Virat Kohli also make a return to the team. Rajat Patidar, Shreyas Iyer and Rahul Tripathi also make a comeback.

Yash Dayal, the left-arm bowler from Uttar Pradesh will be making his debut in the Indian team.
