Ravichandran Ashwin makes his prediction for IPL 2024 Auction

India’s off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin recently analyzed and made predictions for the upcoming IPL 2024 auction via a video on his social media accounts. The 17th season of the Indian Premier League will kick start somewhere around the third week of March 2024 and the auction for the same will be conducted on 19th December from 1 PM IST in the Coca-Cola arena in Dubai. 

Ravichandran Ashwin marks the price range for the upcoming IPL 2024 Auction according to the attacking batting shots in cricket –

Defence: 2 -4 crores

Cover Drive: 4 – 7 crores 

Pull shot: 7 – 10 crores

Slog: 10-14 crores

Helicopter shot: 14+ crores

Ravichandran Ashwin’s Predictions for IPL 2024 Auction 

For the young Indian cricketer Shahrukh Khan, Ashwin predicted that he could fetch somewhere around 10 and 14 crores. For the attacking Kiwi batting all-rounder Rachin Ravindra, the off-spinner played the cover drive, which indicates that he expects the local star to be picked by an IPL franchise for somewhere between 4 and 7 crores. 

For Harshal Patel (recently released by Royal Challengers Bangalore), Ashwin Expected the pacer to go for the price range of 7-10 crore as he played a pull shot. For the Caribbean batter Rovman Powell, Ashwin predicted that he might be picked up between 4 to 7 crores by any team franchise who is looking to power up their middle order.
