End Of Road For Ravindra Jadeja In Chennai?
Ravindra Jadeja is currently busy playing for India in West Indies. However, despite being the vice-captain, he missed the three-match ODI series due to injury. However, since the last edition of the Indian T20 League, there are several reports of a rumoured rift between him and his Chennai franchise.
After that tournament, his social media activities fueled that speculation on many occasions. Notably, last month, Jadeja removed all Chennai-related posts from 2021 and 2022 from his Instagram handle. But, an old shared post of his is making fans believe that he is going to join the Mumbai franchise in the next edition of the league.

Ravindra Jadeja deleted a tweet from his Twitter profile on 3 August 2022
Speaking about that post, he shared his picture on a blue Indian jersey with a caption: ‘Blue Addiction.’ This captain made fans believe that his preferred next destination will be the Mumbai franchise. But, on 3 August 2022, Jadeja deleted a tweet from his Twitter profile on 3 August, Wednesday. This post was from the Chennai franchise to celebrate the magical 10 years of Jadeja in Chennai colours. The post read, “10 years of Super Jaddu.” In reply, Jadeja had written, “10 more to go.” But, now he had deleted this tweet.
However, after the Edgbaston Test match, Journalists asked Jadeja about this rumoured rift with Chennai. But, he refused to talk as he confirmed his full focus on the Indian setup only. Speaking at the conference, Jadeja said: “What happened, happened. Indian T20 League was not on my mind. Whenever you are playing for India, your entire focus needs to be on the Indian team. It was the same for me, there is no better satisfaction than performing well for India.”
Meanwhile, the Chennai franchise has always refused to have any rift with this veteran all-rounder. Speaking to ANI, a Chennai official said that Jadeja’s social media activities were completely his own call. “See, this is a personal call by him. We are not aware of such kinds of incidents from our side. All OK. Nothing is wrong,” He concluded. Speaking about the Chennai franchise, Jadeja played his last game for that franchise on 4 May 2022. Now, reporters are there that Jadeja has not kept any connection with the franchise since the conclusion of the last edition of the Indian T20 League.
