Sachin Tendulkar announces Marathi Film ‘Baipan Bhari Deva’ on Women’s day
Indian cricketing legend Sachin Tendulkar has announced the release date of the Marathi film “Baipan Bhari Deva” on Wednesday. The film is all set to hit the theatres on June 30. On the occasion of the International Women’s Day, Sachin shared a movie poster on his social media. The movie will be presented by Jio Studios.
Directed by Kedar Shinde, the film will feature famous Marathi actors like Rohini Hattangadi, Vandana Gupte, Sukanya Mane, Shilpa Navalkar, Suchitra Bandekar and Deepa Parab. It will be an entertaining family drama that will teach important life lessons in a light vein. The former cricketer said that the film celebrates and honours different facets of women.
“We should always honour women who are constantly winning by celebrating femininity as a mother, sister, wife and daughter. I have experienced their ‘Wonder’ in my life. Now, you can experience it too by watching the movie ‘Baipan Bhari Deva’ on 30th June,” Tendulkar wrote on his Twitter while sharing the movie poster.
A film that will show different aspects of womanhood
“Baipan Bhari Deva” is the story of six sisters who have different ambitions in life and how they navigate their complex relationships which will address different aspects of womanhood, be it traditional notions or breaking stereotypes.
The film will be produced by Jyoti Deshpande and Madhuri Bhosle, and co-produced by Bela Shinde and Ajit Bhure.
Earlier, former Indian skipper MS Dhoni and the all rounder Ravindra Jadeja also put their hands in the field of film production. Dhoni’s production house has already announced it’s first movie ‘Let’s get married.’ While Jadeja has also announced his first movie as the producer named as ‘Pachhattar Ka Chhora’ starring some famous names from the Bollywood like Randeep Hooda, Neena Gupta, Sanjay Mishra, and Gulshan Grover.
