‘Sanju Samson ko firse drop’ – Fans react as Indian cricket board announces squad for Australia T20I series

India and Australia are all set to lock horns for the five match T20 series in Australia’s tour of India after the conclusion of the ODI World Cup 2023. Australia’s of India was divided into two parts due to the ODI World Cup 2023, and before the marquee tournament the teams met for a 3 match mini ODI series to prepare for the tournament.

Now, teams will continue with the tournament to prepare well for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024 which will be hosted by West Indies and the United States of America from 1st June tentatively. 

The Indian cricket board has decided to rest their key players and have appointed India’s number one T20 batsman Suryakumar Yadav as the captain of the team. While the Asian Games 2023 Gold medal team leader Ruturaj Gaikwad has been announced as the vice captain of the team. As per sources, Shreyas Iyer might join the Indian squad for the last two T20 matches in Nagpur and Hyderabad.
