Sanju Samson heaps praise on Rohit Sharma and India head coach Rahul Dravid

Sanju Samson is currently leading the Rajasthan franchise in the Indian T20 League 2022. The men in pink are having a decent time under Samson’s leadership. They are currently placed at the third position in the points table winning six of their 10 matches.
The Rajasthan skipper has revealed that when he went to New Zealand with the Indian national team, it was Rohit Sharma who helped him gel with the team. It was the comeback series for Samson and a lot had changed since the last time he was a part of the national team. According to Samson, Sharma offered him to go out for dinner to ease his nerves. This made Samson happy and he felt at ease.
While speaking on Gaurav Kapoor’s program ‘Breakfast with Champions’, Samson also praised the current Indian Head Coach Rahul Dravid. Samson has worked in close quarters with Dravid when the latter was coaching the Rajasthan franchise. Speaking about Dravid, he said that the man is unique in the sense that he treats everybody in the same way regardless of the profile of the person.
“The best quality of Rahul Dravid is that he will talk to the owner of Rajasthan in the same manner and he will talk to the groundsman in the same manner- I will be like ‘How can you do it.”- revealed Samson.
Speaking of Rajasthan, they have lost their last two matches in the Indian T20 League 2022. However, this has not affected their position in the points table as they had a brilliant start to their campaign. But they will look to bounce back with a few wins before the business end of the tournament starts.
