‘Shakib Jesus Hasan’: Fans hilariously troll Shakib Al Hasan on his new look

Shakib Al Hasan is one of the leading all-rounders in the world currently. The 35-year-old all-rounder has incredible numbers in all three formats of the game. His consistent performances even saw him rise to the top of the all-rounders’ rankings in all three formats. Off late, the batter has found himself in many controversies.

The star all-rounder was banned for one year from all forms of cricket in the year 2019 after failing to report several approaches by the bookies to engage in match-fixing. Shakib was originally handed over a ban of two years, out of which one year ban was suspended after the player accepted three charges of breaching the apex cricket body’s Anti-Corruption Code. Shakib’s ban ended on 29th October 2020 and he was, once again, allowed to participate in professional cricket.

The all-rounder, once again, made headlines after he showed dissatisfaction over the umpire’s decision during a Dhaka Premier League game in June 2021. The former Bangladesh Captain kicked the stumps to show his frustration over an umpire’s decision during the match. In another incident later on in the match, the all-rounder was seen taking out all the stumps at the non-striker’s end and throwing them on the pitch angrily.

While the cricketer has been in the news for all the wrong reasons of late, he has been doing well on the field. The Southpaw was Bangladesh’s highest run-scorer in their last tour to the West Indies in Tests and T20Is.
