Shikhar Dhawan will be back in Indian colors after a long time during the upcoming three-match ODI series against South Africa starting Wednesday. As of now, Dhawan is only in the scheme of things in One Day Internationals and he would be hoping to make most of his opportunities in order to be on the selection list for the 2023 World Cup later next year. While Shikhar Dhawan would be eager to make a tremendous impact on the 22 yards, he had lately played a musical instrument as a true professional.

Prior to his departure to South Africa, Shikhar Dhawan had appeared on The Kapil Sharma Show hosted by the popular stand-up comedian Kapil Sharma. Dhawan was joined by his former Delhi Capitals teammate Prithvi Shaw. Meanwhile, a video of the southpaw playing flute on the show has gone viral on social media.

In the video, the opening batter was heard playing the tune of ‘Hoton Se Chhulo Tum’ sung by the late and legendary singer Jagjit Singh.

Team India’s quest to conquer the ‘Final Frontier’ prolongs after they lost the three-match Test series to South Africa 2-1 from a position of strength despite having drawn first blood at Centurion. The focus now shifts to the three One Day International matches with the first ODI being played at Boland Park in Paarl on Wednesday. The second ODI will be played at the same venue on Friday while the decider will be contested at the Newlands Cricket Stadium in Cape Town on Sunday.

After conceding the Test series, the Men In Blue would be eager to sign off by dominating in the 50-overs format.
