Shubman Gill addresses dating rumors with Sara Ali Khan in cheeky manner

Shubman Gill and Sara Ali Khan haven’t just made headlines with their respective careers. In the last few months, both have been rumored to be dating each other. Meanwhile, recently, the right-hander, Gill appeared on Preeti and Neeti Simoes’ Punjabi chat show, Dil Diyan Gallan. In the show, he was asked about who is the fittest actress in Bollywood. To which, he replied by saying ‘Sara’.

After this, the 2018 U19 World Cup winner was asked about him dating Khan. To which, the former replied, “May be.” The host Sonam then further asked him to reveal the truth and said, “sara ka sara sach bolo,” to which Shubman answered, “sara da sara sach bol diya. May be, maybe not.” The video of this conversation is doing rounds on social media.

Shubman Gill will be part of the India team for the tour of New Zealand

Meanwhile, the Punjab player will be part of the touring Men In Blue team for the white-ball series in New Zealand. The series will start with a three-match T20I series on November 18. The next two games of the series will be played on November 20 and 22. The ODI games will be played on 25th, 27th, and 30th.

Gill has been named in both ODI and T20I squads. Talking about his ODI career, he played 12 games and has 579 runs at an average of 57.90 including a hundred that came in Zimbabwe. On the other hand, he is yet to play the T20I format. He made his international debut during the 2020-21 Border-Gavaskar Trophy.

Meanwhile, he is more likely to play the ODIs than the shortest format in New Zealand. After all, he has had great form in the 50-over format before the 20-20 World Cup 2022 while in T20Is, players such as Ishan Kishan and Sanju Samson may get the chance.
