Shubman Gill Brutally Trolls KL Rahul In His Recent Instagram Story, Post Goes Viral

India is gearing up for the next Asia Cup as the tournament is going to start on 27 August 2022. They just won a three-match ODI series against Zimbabwe at a margin of 3-0. However, several top players were not in the Zimbabwe series. They will be in action in the upcoming Asia Cup only.

In the absence of top players, youngsters like Shubman Gill got another chance to showcase their potential. Meanwhile, Gill impressed everyone with his batting skills since the West Indies tour. But, now he posted a funny Instagram story where he trolled another star Indian batter, KL Rahul. The image got viral and it got surfaced quickly over the internet.

Shubman Gill was the highest run-scorer and player of the series against Zimbabwe

Speaking of that post, Gill shared an image of himself with Shikhar Dhawan, KL Rahul, and Ishan Kishan. In that image, KL Rahul looked tired as he did not get any rest while traveling. Shubman shared the image with a caption: “When @klrahul bhai doesn’t get his beauty sleep”.

Speaking of this recent ODI series against Zimbabwe, Shubman Gill impressed everyone by scoring his maiden ton in the third and final match. He scored 130 runs off 97 balls in that match and helped India in posting a total of 289 runs in 50 overs. However, he ended the series by becoming the highest scorer. He smashed 245 runs in three matches at an average of 122.50.

However, he will not be a part of the Indian team for the upcoming Asia Cup. Hence, players like him and Shikhar Dhawan will be back in India from Zimbabawe. On the other hand, KL Rahul will travel to UAE for the Asia Cup. In the absence of Rohit Sharma, Rahul got the opportunity to lead the team. He managed to clean sweep the home side 3-0. Now, he will look to be in action against Pakistan on 28 August 2022 in UAE.
