Suryakumar Yadav drops intriguing injury update ahead of Afghanistan series
Suryakumar Yadav is one of the best T20I batters of this generation. He was captaining the side in the T20I series against South Africa which India the series ended in a draw 1-1 and during the game he twisted his ankle the No.1 T20I batter will miss the Afghanistan series as he is yet to recover from the injury.
There is no official confirmation on his status for the three-match T20I series against Afghanistan, which will start on January 11. A source said, “He has completely recovered from his ankle injury. He has been training every day. Hardik is fit and fine. In fact, he has been working out daily. All the talk about him going to miss the IPL is just rumour. There are still four months left for IPL 2024, so anything at this moment, is just speculation.”
