Taniya Bhatia Provides Update Regarding The Actions Taken On The Robbery Of Her Bag In England
On 24 September 2022, India Women created history by clean sweeping England Women in England in the three-match T20I series. India’s wicketkeeper Taniya Bhatia was a part of that squad. However, she did not play in that last match. But, on 26 September 2022, she shared that someone stole her bag from her hotel room in London.
She took Twitter and shared that news with the hope of help from the England Cricket Board and the England Police. But, on 28 September, she shared a disappointing update that she did not get any help regarding that incident.
Here is the tweet:
I still haven’t recd any response from the hotel management, @Marriott. This is quite disappointing. The items that were stolen from my room were both valuable and important to me. Has any action been taken since the theft? An update would be much appreciated. https://t.co/PIT2SQkq9N

So unsafe.”
2/2 Hoping for a quick investigation and resolution of this matter. Such lack of security at @ECB_cricket's preferred hotel partner is astounding. Hope they will take cognisance as well.@Marriott @BCCIWomen @BCCI
