Three contenders who can replace Jasprit Burmah in 20-20 World Cup
2. Mohammed Siraj
If Mohammed Siraj makes it to the 20-20 World Cup squad, it will be a superb comeback as Siraj last played a T20I in February. If he is brought back to represent India again, then it could be purely on the basis of performances in the Indian T20 League for the Bangalore franchise. He picked up 11 wickets in nine matches in the 2020 edition of the Indian T20 League, and he picked up 17 wickets from 19 matches in the 2021 Indian T20 League edition. His form dipped in the 2022 edition where he picked up only 10 wickets from 16 matches. But his ability to swing the new ball up front is his prime skill and also, he can bowl at good speeds of around 140 kph.
