2. If the opportunity arises, work on improving the Net Run Rate
The Net Run Rate (NRR) has taken a hit after the team’s heavy loss. At the moment, it reads (-4.450) as they conceded 10 runs per over but could only score less than six runs in reply. As discussed earlier, the team’s first instinct must be to win the games first.
However, if the opportunity arrives, they need to work on fixing the NRR. Not to forget, they had a healthy NRR at the end of the Super 12 round in the last edition. This helped the team qualify for the semis quite comfortably.
