The home team will get a lot more support than ever this time. Thanks to their medal-winning run in the Tokyo Olympic and Commonwealth Games, the team has definitely earned some fans. For the unversed, they won their only title way back in 1975, beating arch-rivals, Pakistan.
Since then, they haven’t even qualified for the final. This time around, they would be looking to do much better in front of their home crowds. Given their improvement as a side, they cannot be underestimated.
