Mohammad Sami’s 17-run over, Asia Cup 2004
In 2004, Pakistan and Bangladesh met in the Asia Cup. Mohammad Sami was playing for Pakistan. However, he started the match with a maiden over only. But, in the next over, he made many blunders. He bowled a 17-run over in that match which included seven wides and four no-balls.
This expensive over is one of the controversial moments in the history of the Asia Cup. Speaking of his career for Pakistan, Sami played 136 matches across all three formats. He managed to take 227 wickets, including three five-wicket hauls.
