Announcement of India’s squad for the 20-20 World Cup
After having a dismal show in the Asia Cup 2022, India is now looking to perform well in the next edition of the 20-20 World Cup. However, ahead of that event, they are going to play two three-match T20I series against Australia and South Africa respectively. Even, they will play a three-match ODI series against the Proteas also on home soil.
Meanwhile, on 12 September 2022, the Indian Cricket Board announced the squad for the World Cup and both the T20I series. However, some fans were not so happy with the exclusion of some players. But, still, fans looked to back their players ahead of this mega event as India will look to win the 20-20 World Cup after 2007.
