Top 5 raiders with most raid points in first 4 days of PKL 10

The tenth edition of the Pro Kabaddi League is 4 days old. In the little period in the league, there have been some electrifying moments already in the tournament. There have been many sensational performers individually so far in the tournament. Most of the games have gone down to the wire with the results being neck-to-neck. The schedule has been framed in such a way that the home side gets to play the most number of games in the early stage of the tournament.

As a result, Gujarat Giants have been able to play 3 games in the league already. On the other hand, teams like Haryana Steelers and Patna Pirates are yet to play a game. Gujarat has dominated the league so far by winning all their 3 games so far in the first 4 days of the tournament. They have had some terrific performers in both the raiding and defending departments. Many other teams have had very good performers individually, irrespective of the outcome of their games.

5. Rakesh Sungroya

Rakesh Sungroya has been able to assist Sonu Singh well as a backup raider. In 3 matches, Rakesh has claimed 15 raid points to his name. In the first match of the season, they were up against Telugu Titans at home. Gujarat won it by 38-32 and Rakesh was very useful in the match, as he claimed a total of 5 raid points. All of them were touch points. Rohit Gullia turned out to be a good third raider in the absence of Rakesh and Sonu. The trio worked well for the home side.

In the second match, Rakesh was useful in claiming the bonus points against Bengaluru Bulls. Against a good defensive unit consisting of the likes of Surjeet Singh, Aman, and Saurabh Nandal, Rakesh claimed a touch point and scored three bonus points for his side. in the end, they won the match by 34-31. In the thrilling match against U Mumba, Gujarat won it 39-37. Rakesh had a field game, as he claimed 3 touch points and was useful with a touch point as well.
