India’s young opener Yashasvi Jaiswal scored his first double-century for India on Saturday. The knock came during the second India vs England Test match in Visakhapatnam. This knock enabled the youngster to join a special club of players.

The likes of Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid, Virender Sehwag, and Virat Kohli have scored multiple double centuries. Yashasvi Jaiswal’s knock though etched him into a special club of Indian batting legends.

Playing in front of his home crowd, Gautam Gambhir was charged up. The Indian opener scored 206 runs off 380 balls with 26 fours and a six. The six incidentally got Gambhir to his century. Gautam Gambhir is one of the few left-handed batters to have scored double centuries for India.
