The year 2007 will always be special for former India skipper Sourav Ganguly. After his comeback in 2006, the next year was seen as a batting resurgence for the then 35-year-old. During the final Test in Bengaluru, Sourav Ganguly scored 239 runs off 361 balls against Pakistan. At one stage India was reeling at 61/4 before Yuvraj Singh and Ganguly added 300 runs for the 5th wicket. This is the highest score by an Indian left-handed batter to score a double century.
