Virat expresses gratitude to Rohit Sharma?

Mumbai faced Delhi in the 69th match of the Indian T20 League 2022. While nothing much was at stake for the five time champions in the match, the match was an important one for Delhi and Bangalore. Before the start of the match, the points table made it clear that I f Delhi wins they will be playin in the playoffs and if Mumbai win the match, then Bangalore will find themselves in the top four.
Speaking of the match Delhi batted first in the match afte Mumbai invited them to do so. On the back of Rovman Powell’s 43off 34 balls and Rishabh Pant’s 39 off 33 balls, Delhi managed to reach a total of 159 runs in their 20 overs. During the chase Mumbai lost the plot at one stage but courtesy of Tim David’s 11 ball 34, Mumbai prevailed in the contest by 5 wickets. With Mumbai’s win Bangalore playing in the Eliminator was confirmed.
The result of the match saw ecstasy from both the fans and the players playing for Bangalore. Images of Kohli celebrating with his teammates like Faf du Plessis and Glenn Maxwell also send viral on the internet. But what has grabbed even more attention is a Tweet of Virat Kohli.
It is a Tweet of Kohli saying “thank you” to Rohit Sharma. However, it was found to be an old tweet from 2019 where Kohli thanked his teammate for wishing him Happy Birthday. But the fans have found their own way to be amused by the Tweet.

Notably, having qualified to play in the Eliminator on May 25,2022, Bangalore will be facing Lucknow in the match at Eden Gardens in Kolkata. Du Plessis and Co. will have to focus on a higher level to win their maiden ITL-title. As, they will now need three consecutive wins to achieve the feat.
