Virat Kohli is currently busy playing the three-match T20I series against South Africa at home. On 28 September, India played the series opener against them. However, they managed a convincing win by eight wickets in Thiruvananthapuram. Hence, ahead of the 20-20 World Cup in Australia, it was another good victory for the Men in Blue.

Meanwhile, the crowd was waiting outside the stadium while the Indian team bus was leaving after the match. Then, fans saw Virat Kohli and started to chant his name. Hearing that, the former Indian skipper came up with an epic action that made the fans crazy. The video went viral all over the internet.

Speaking about the former Indian skipper’s performance, he failed to score big in the series opener. Virat Kohli scored only three runs off nine balls. However, since the Asia Cup 2022, Kohli has been enjoying a good run of form with the bat. In the Asia Cup, he managed to score his much-awaited 71st hundred for India.

Kohli scored 276 runs in five matches of the Asia Cup at an average of 92. Even, in the T20I series against the Aussies, he came up with some crucial contributions. In the series decider, he scored 63 runs off 48 balls, at a strike rate of three fours and four sixes. He batted at a strike rate of 131.25 while chasing the target of 187 runs. Thus, India won the match and with that win, sealed the series at a margin of 2-1. Virat Kohli will be in action again on 2 October 2022 when India will take on the Proteas for the second match of the series.
