Virat Kohli’s Sweet Reply To Babar Azam’s Support During His Tough Time
Since 2019, Virat Kohli is unable to find out his level-best form in all formats of the game for India as he failed to score a single ton. In the ongoing ODI series against England, Virat failed again when he played the second match of the series. Due to his poor run of form, former cricketers have started to question his inclusion in the playing XI.
However, the current Pakistan skipper, Babar Azam came up with support for him as he tweeted a heartfelt message. He posted a picture of him with Kohli from last year’s T20 World Cup match with a captain: “This too shall pass. Stay strong. #ViratKohli”

Virat Kohli wishes all the best to Babar Azam in reply
Now, this was a great, heartwarming gesture from Babar Azam while Virat is experiencing a very lean patch with the bat. Now, in reply to that, Virat tweeted by sharing his gratitude towards him. He also wished the Pakistan skipper all the best for his future. Virat tweeted with a caption: “Thank you. Keep shining and rising. Wish you all the best” with a ‘clap’ emoji.

It should be considered a great gesture by both the players. Along with Babar Azam, former Pakistan pacer Shoaib Akhtar also shared his support for Kohli. He suggested Kohli for focusing on his batting only by avoiding all criticism on social media platforms. He also questioned those former cricketers who raised the agenda of dropping Kohli from the playing XI after what he had done for India over the last decade.
Speaking of the series, Virat will be in action for the series decider on Sunday (17 July 2022) at Manchester while India will take on England. However, he will not be part of the upcoming ODI and T20I series against West Indies as he demanded some rest from the Board. Even though, the Board wanted him to play the series as T20 World Cup is approaching shortly.
