‘Waiting for anushka bhabhi outrage insta post’ – Fans take opportunity to have fun as Bangalore’s Twitter account hacked

Bangalore has been the most unfortunate side in the history of the Indian T20 League. Since the tournament kicked off in 2008, the team has played in three finals, and qualified for the playoffs five times. However, despite being one of the title contenders over the years, the team hasn’t been able to lift the trophy. Not to forget, players such as Jacques Kallis to AB de Villiers have played for the team.
Meanwhile, the social media team of the franchise has gotten into a different kind of trouble. Apparently, a hacker or a group of hackers have changed the profile of the Red Army’s official Twitter handle. The miscreants have turned it into ‘Bored Ape Yacht Club”. Notably, they didn’t change the username of the account which is why it came to the notice of the fans.

Bangalore squad for the Indian T20 League 2023
Ahead of the 2023 player auction last December, the team retained most of its players from the 15th season. Former South Africa skipper Faf du Plessis continues to lead the side. Apart from him, the team retained the likes of former skipper Virat Kohli, Glenn Maxwell, Josh Hazlewood, Wanindu Hasaranga, etc. Notably, Harshal Patel, who is struggling with the ball in the last few months, was retained too.
