Hasan Ali took the catch to dismiss Dasun Shanaka by avoiding a collision with Iftikhar Ahmed in Asia Cup 2022

Speaking of the video, it was the 17th over of Sri Lanka’s innings. Mohammad Hasnain came to bowl that over. For Sri Lanka, skipper Dasun Shanaka was batting with Pathum Nissanka. On the second delivery of that over, Shanaka tried to hit Hasnani for a six. But, it ended up as a top-edge.

To take that catch, both Hasan Ali and Iftikhar Ahmed ran. But, it seemed like they were going to get collided. But, Hasan Ali managed to grab the catch and both nearly avoided a collapse while both fell to the ground. After that, they started playing catch-catch while seeing and laughing at each other.

With that, Shanaka departed for 21 runs off 16 balls, including one four and two sixes. Speaking of the match, Pakistan got bundled out for 121 runs in 19.1 overs.
