Pakistan skipper Babar Azam had a poor year as Test captain last year. Under him, his side could only win one game, against Sri Lanka. Apart from this, the team failed to win a single Test at home against Australia, England, and New Zealand. For the first time in many years, these teams traveled to the Asian country. Against the Aussies, the team lost the three-match series 1-0.

Many months later, the Three Lions clean sweep Pakistan for the first time in the Asian country. Also, they failed to win against New Zealand even after scoring 438 runs in the first Test, and the game ended in a draw. Meanwhile, the Lahore-born player took time to visit an ailing fan in a hospital. In a video uploaded by Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), the national side skipper met a child in a hospital.

During a chat with the kid, the youngster told Azam that he will support Peshawar Zalmi. For the unversed, the right-hander has been signed by the 2017 PSL champions. After a while, Babar handed the national side’s training cap and arrange a video call with Mohammad Rizwan.

Meanwhile, talking about Pakistan’s next game, they will play their last Test against New Zealand before going into the ODI series. The last Test will start on January 2 in Karachi. With the first game ending in a draw, the winner of the upcoming game will win the series. The home team would look to end their nightmarish home season on high.

It will be interesting to see what sort of wicket will be dished out for the upcoming game. During Pakistan’s home series against Australia, England, and New Zealand, the pitches have been excruciatingly flat. Only the Three Lions have managed to get results in all of their games. The likes of Australia and New Zealand have had to settle with three drawn games combined.
