WATCH: Babar Azam’s failed attempt to grab the ball at non-strikers end
The Pakistan team is currently playing their first match in Pakistan’s tour of Australia against the prime minister’s playing XI in the first practice match. Pakistan’s captain Babar Azam recently called it quits as he stepped down from from all the format captaincy of Pakistan to concentrate on his batting.
However, in the practice match Babar Azam pulled a stint which took the social media by storm as he was brutally trolled for his move. Notably, on a delivery bowled by Beau Webster, Masood hit the ball down the ground, and it went close by the non-striker batter who was Babar Azam.
In a quick response to the shot, Azam tried to grab the ball but it fell afar. Azam became a target to the brutal trolls for his move to collect the ball, as Cricket Australia also mocked him by posting the video of the incident.
