Watch: ‘Cup chahiye humko is baar’- Fans Insist Indian Captain For Winning The World Cup, Video Goes Viral
Team India is currently busy playing the ongoing Asia Cup in UAE. After winning both the matches in the group stage, they qualified for the ‘Super Four’. But, it did not go as per their plan as India lost the first match against Pakistan. Pakistan won the match by five wickets in Dubai. India scored 181 runs by seven wickets. But, Pakistan chased down the target with five wickets to spare.
However, with this loss, India’s qualification for this tournament’s final became a little bit critical. Now, a video went viral where a fan was seen urging Rohit Sharma for winning the World Cup this time around. After last year’s disastrous exit, India will look to do well this time around in Australia.
Here is the shared video:

Rohit Sharma and his boys will be in action against Sri Lanka on 6 September 2022 in Asia Cup
Speaking of the video, Rohit Sharma was seen going toward the team bus. There a fan shouted his name and urged him for winning the World Cup this year. He said that this time, India wants that cup only, and therefore, the team needs to assure that only.
During the last T20 World Cup in 2021, India lost both their matches against Pakistan and New Zealand. Then, they won the rest of their matches. But, that was not enough for them to get qualified for the next round. But, after that tournament, India has been phenomenal under Rohit Sharma’s captaincy, especially in this shortest format of the game. Hence, fans are hoping to see India winning the glory this time around in Australia later this year.
Speaking of the ongoing Asia Cup 2022, India is going to play two must-win matches against Sri Lanka and Afghanistan respectively on 6 and 8 September 2022. Apart from winning in both these games, India does not have a chance to qualify for the final. Hence, it can be a big blow in their preparations for the upcoming World Cup.
